The conversions are not 100% error free, see known issues. If you would like to use the file again at a later date you can save it in.studio format in your silhouette studio software. You can't use svg files with the free version of silhouette studio, but by converting svgs to dxf files, you can use them without upgrading to the designer. File menu, open, select your svg file. Open the file you would like to convert.
